Attorney Janet Taylor assists clients through both litigation and arbitration in criminal and regulatory cases. She focuses her practice in business law, concentrating on securities issues, non-competes, and pursuing trade secret and accountant liability violations.

Experience

Prior to law school, Ms. Taylor was a paralegal with Gelb & Gelb LLP. Upon graduating from New York University School of Law, she joined the law firms of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York and Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston as an associate and Raphael LLC in Boston as an attorney. Her background at these firms gave her valuable experience in civil litigation, cases involving government investigations and SEC, and defending white collar criminal accusations.

At Goodwin Procter LLP, Ms. Taylor was proud to be involved in the Political Asylum Immigration Reform, or PAIR, project, helping immigrants from Central and South America and Africa with pro bono legal services. Ms. Taylor was honored in 2009 by the PAIR project as an outstanding mentor to her fellow volunteer lawyers.
