Paul V. Usera (pusera@gelbgelb.com) is an associate at Gelb & Gelb LLP, and a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Mr. Usera received his B.A. in English and Spanish in 2001 from The College of the Holy Cross, and his J.D. in 2007 from The George Washington University Law School.  During law school, Mr. Usera was an active participant in Moot Court.  He was selected to represent his law school at the 2006 Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition.  In addition, Mr. Usera served on the Moot Court Executive Board, first as Assistant Chair of the National Security Law Moot Court Competition, and later as President of the Board.  In 2006, Mr. Usera served as a Summer Honors Intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where he worked in the Trial Unit of the Division of Enforcement assisting with the prosecution of various securities law violations. 

AREAS OF PRACTICE
Mr. Usera represents clients in litigation, arbitration and regulatory proceedings.  He concentrates in the areas of business, securities, non-competition agreements, corporate raiding and trade secrets, accountants' liability and criminal law.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:
Mr. Usera is a member of Phi Delta Phi (Legal Ethics Fraternity, Honors Chapter), the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association and The Suffolk University Law School Litigation American Inn of Court.
